Geographical Locations : Cyprus : Lefkosia (District) Galata The village of Galata is situated amongst the green valley of Solea, along side the river bank of Karkotis, fifty kilometers south west of Nicosia (The capital of Cyprus). The people here are very friendly and hospitable, where always their doors will be open for you to visit. There are six Byzantine churches of great interest, where you will be able to enjoy the traditional architecture of Cyprus. Finally a visit to see the traditional fully refurbished Flour Mill which is still in use today, which is an absolute must, which is situated aside the Art Museum.
