It is built on a mountainside in the mountain chain of Troodos and it is surrounded by picturesque slopes and plateaus planted with vines. During your stay at the village you can visit: The Church Museum where icons of extraordinary art of the 14th and15th century, a collection of silver Church objects, and a collection of manuscripts and copies printed during the 15th Century are presented.The village Church is built in gothic rhythm (1890) and it is dedicated to the Annunciation of the Mother Of God. Very close to the village, heading towards the north you will see the cave where Saint Timon led a Hermit’s life (7th Centure). Walking towards the East you will pass the private Winery of Vasa where wines of superior quality are produced from vineyards of local cultivation. Descending more towards the East you will find your way to the country Church of Saint George (14th century) from there you can go down to the village river and enjoy the unique view of the nature which spreads ahead of you.
