Tempria is a beautiful village in the centre of Solia valley. It is located 60 km north-west of Nicosia city and it is built in the western side of Klarios river, in an altitude of 480m with cold climate in winter and cool during the summertime. In the old times it was the kingdom of Tempros from where the village took its name. The villagers are still producing olives, fruits and vegetables. Visiting the village of Tempria someone can see the church of Ayia Paraskevi which was built in 1972, the church of Holy Cross built in 1516, can also visit the olive mill, the watermill and the Drakon fountain. The visitors can enjoy a walk in the narrow streets of the village admiring the traditional architecture and then they can relax in the cafes and enjoy the traditional sweets of Cyprus.
