lovely days

we spent ten nights at Loxandras, it was clean and comfortable, it took some time to get the water warm and the kitchen equipment could be more (one isnt eager to cook more than pasta), WiFi was stabil and you have so lovely places to sit and enjoy the calmness of the buildings, court and garden. Avda and her husband helped in every situation, if we missed for example a coffee machine, she brought immediately. Nearly every day we found nuts, almonds, grapes or other small gifts when we came back from the trips. You have very good drinking water in- and outside. There are some cats one has to educate not to go inside the rooms, thats all.We want to come again!Barbara 10.10.2018

Cosy Stay In A Friendly Village

Our stay at Loxandras was quite nice. It is a bit remote and the village is adorable, but it is also centrally located and extremely easy to travel from city to city (if you have car). There are restaurants and wineries near by in which you can experience the local culture and then travel to various beaches and hiking trails within 20 minutes or so. It was a great getaway place and I would highly recommend. The wifi is a bit shotty, so dont depend on it fully, but it works well enough to research things to do and places to go.

perfect garden, but we did not like at all bed, bedroom and bathroom

We had planned to stay for five nights, but left after the second night...We did not like the very anti romantic bedroom (very cold light...), but in fact it was the bed with the linen too small, that made the nights disgusting for us. All the time afraid of getting into contact with the mattresses. We have not had an experience of that kind out of Africa. The bathroom, very small in the old building, ok, but tap and shower sprinkling into all directions but the intended - was a further reason. The very nice garden and the cold appearing living room did not compensate for the shortages we experienced. Some of the problems could be easily fixed with investing a few euros the place could be upgraded to European standard. Unfortunately this has not been done in the past.
