Botanical Park & Labyrinth Avgorou village
Cyprus is a unique place to visit for a fun day out for the whole family. The park features 9 themed organic herb gardens, a large hedge maze, a forest planted in the shape of the island, and a lavender meditation labyrinth. There are special educational and fun activities available for kids. In the park, we grow all kinds of certified organic Mediterranean herbs, which are used in the production of teas, essential oils, and cosmetics. You will find these products in the herb shop at Cyherbia park as well as in our webshop.
The woodland
Walk around Cyprus in less than an hour! Come and take a stroll around our Sanctuary Woodland. The Island of Cyprus has been set out using the Cyprus tree, tall and columnar, with a pathway taking you around the coastline. Here you may be able to see the many birds, reptiles, and insects of this wonderful island. We have many permanent residents in our woodland, from Lizards to Praying Mantis, from Butterflies to Ladybirds, from Falcons to Swallows and Swifts. The diversity is incredible, you may be able to see many of these during your visit. You will discover the many different types of trees indigenous to the island, each marked to describe the plant itself.
The Gardens
The herb garden is divided into nine different sections, each having a theme. Children are given a game sheet with fun educational activities around the herb garden and are given a prize when they return the game sheet to a staff member in the tea room or the shop!
The Tea Room
Overlooking the gardens in our tea room, you can relax with a cup of herbal tea, enjoy our freshly made lunch dishes and try our unique cakes. If you haven't tried our famous lavender lemonade and lavender cake you are missing out :)
The Maze
The only Hedge Maze in Cyprus. Over 600 m of twisting paths in between tall hedges, take you to another dimension, CAN YOU FIND YOUR WAY OUT? 2000 square meters of ‘green’ fun for all the family. Designed for kids and adults alike, it a great way to spend an afternoon, trying to solve the puzzles and to claim that you have been A-MAZED. Come and have fun with all the family, and try to find your way out!
