Weekends are there to spend our day happily and of course to get away from everyday life even for a while. The Park is between Korakou and Flasou, in the region of Nicosia and all you hear while you are there are the melodies of the birds. It is a large-scale project that aims to create a space in which various techniques for the production of perfumes are presented from antiquity to the present, giving visitors the opportunity to learn the history of Cypriot perfumery and harvest the botanical material from the environment. Its main goal is to educate the younger generation of Cypriots and offer them the experience wto get in touch with their roots and history with fun.
There are several packages that offer you many creative activities. For example, there is the simple entrance which includes a simple tour, about 45 minutes. The tour guide will tell you a lot about how the ancients produced perfumes, and even how an experiment is done. There is also a detailed tour, where you can do your own perfume experiment!
There are activities for children. They can become archaeologists, produce their own perfume and even engage in pottery. The place also offers Cypriot brunch or lunch so make sure you go around 10:00 am to enjoy there all day.
