In 1992, Costas took the decision to work with agro tourism at the same time with his agricultural occupations. That decision was finally proven to be the right one. He renovated an inherited traditional family house in the village of Lofou and he transformed it into a beautiful traditional tavern and named it after the name of the village "Lofou Tavern". The hotel unit provides studios, cafeteria and the traditional tavern. The renovated rooms include cooker, living room, dining room, air-conditioning system and internal courtyard.
In one of the most beautiful wine-villages of the mountainous Limassol, and specifically in one of the stone-paved allies of the village Vouni you will find Oinou Strata. This is a unique retreat, where visitors get the chance to enjoy serenity and absolute peace, combined with the traditional graciousness that is reflected in every single detail of the place. Its name is connected to the “paths of wine” which cross the village. As it is generally known, Vouni was the third largest village of vineyards and wineries in Limassol District.
The original structure was built in 1947 by the present owners’ grandfather as accommodation for guests visiting the Kyperounta Sanatorium (now the hospital). The hotel passed to Takis and his wife Sotiroulla — famous for her home cooked specialities — and then to the current generation of owners, who have transformed the old 5-room guest house into the present-day superb hotel.
Guests are sure to find that the old family traditions of hospitality, high standards of guest care and cleanliness, and of course fine food and courteous service still remain.
