The place is simple but magical. Ms. Chrysoula is a jewel. Very accommodating, polite, courteous. The breakfast is perfect. A truly cypriot experience from the past

Totally wonderful stay -- a beautiful house, excellent location, and the most extraordinary hospitality! I learned so much about Cyprus and Cypriot culture, sampled unique Cypriot food (offered by the owner as part of the exceptionally cheap breakfast), and wished I had stayed at Sappho Manor for weeks, not just a week. Everything is more than comfortable, full of character (a historic building, with many traditional features such as a wine-pressing trough in the reception area), and charming everywhere. Sitting in the shady garden under the vines and fruit trees, surrounded by flowers, is restful and restoring. Add to all of that some fascinating conversation with Chrysoula, the owner, and you have the most perfect recipe for holiday enjoyment.

April stay in Sappho manor

Lovely accommodation in traditional manor house in a small village.Host Chrisula was very welcoming and helpful .Attractive courtyard where we breakfasted in the well kept garden.Pool was unheated so a bit chilly when we were there in early April but a welcome addition when the weather warms up. We ate at the nearby Palates hotel both evenings and would highly recommend food and welcome.

Fantastic place to stay in a great village in the hills

My wife and I spent five nights at Sappho Manor House in October and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Manor House has a small number of rooms around a nice terrace and pool and our studio was really comfortable. The owner, Christoula, is a lovely lady who could not have been more welcoming. The village, Droushia, was a great place to be based - an interesting little village, 600m up in the hills, with a couple of good restaurants. It is also in easy reach of Pafos, Latsi and the Akamas peninsular, but a million miles from the ghastly tourist developments on the coast. Cant recommend highly enough!

A great house in a great village nott far from the sea

Very kind hostess and a charming house in the centre of a village with facilities. The garden is quite peaceful and the swimming pool is probably enjoyable in summer. The room is clean : we had a kitchnette inside which can be useful. Decoration a little bit old school. The seaside is not far away (10 minutes by car). Great area to visit : quiet compared with the south.Nice place to spend a couple of days
