Apokryfo is a unique hideaway located at the edge of the picturesque village of Lofou, in the foothills of Mount Olympus, Cyprus. This boutique hotel is made up of a cluster of old stone houses that have been painstakingly renovated by the owners: local architect Vakis Hadjikyriacou and his interior designer wife, Diana.
The wide range of accommodation includes suites, one bedroom studios and two and three bedroom houses. All rooms and houses are equipped with satellite TV, DVD/CD player, WiFi internet, king size beds, central heating and air conditioning, some rooms have fireplaces and others have private courtyards. Apokryfo is a perfect location to celebrate christenings, anniversaries and special weddings. The Courtyard can accommodate up to 100 quests around the pool. The Makrinari room is fully equipped with audio visual equipment for seminars and meetings up to 30 people.
Activities
Gests activities include a fully equipped gym with sauna and steam bath, massage and beauty treatments by appointment, a library complete with board games, DVDs and CDs and walking maps for the surrounding countryside.
Wine tasting in the Sterna wine cellar and lunches can be all be arranged. Three golf courses are located within a 30min drive from Apokryfo as well as skiing and mountaining biking on Troodos. Day sailing excursions can be arranged on a luxury 47 Beneteau or a 54DS Jeanneau in Limassol Bay.
